Eliza is a public defender running against incumbent Cy Vance Jr., who has occupied the role for about 10 years. Many have criticized Cy’s handling of the investigation into the crimes of Harvey Weinstein, Jeffrey Epstein, Donald Trump and NYPD police brutality cases.
