SCAMDALOUS Officially Launches on Snapchat

The digital landscape is evolving and changing daily. You may think you are caught up on what’s happening online. But by the time you open TikTok or Instagram, everyone has moved on to the next trend or headline. So how do you stay up-to-date on what’s going viral and increasing engagement?

Welcome to Trade Secrets by Bullish Studio: A new guide for creators and brands looking to get an edge in what they do best.

With over 100 campaigns under our belt and an influential creator network reaching over 35 million followers, we've learned a thing or two about growing on socials, making content, monetizing, capitalizing on trending topics, establishing best practices, and beyond. There’s no gatekeeping here — we’re revealing the secret sauce to stay ahead and stand out from your mutuals.

Bullish Studio is excited to announce the debut of Scamdalous, starring New York comedienne Serena Shahidi, on Snapchat Discover.

“I’m so excited to bring Scamdalous to Snapchat in what is clearly an elaborate scam to get me to download Snapchat,” Serena said about the new show.

We are thankful to Snapchat for giving us the opportunity to grow this series — which originally began on TikTok — and bring it to an audience of over 10 million Snapchat Discover viewers per month.

In this series, anyone is fair game to Scamdalous host and TikTok icon Serena Shahidi (famously @glamdemon2004) — from fraudsters, swindlers, scammers, girlbosses, and everyone in between. Serena dishes on every fabulous scam of the most scintillating hucksters and their not so fabulous consequences, including big names like Anna Delvey, Billy McFarland, Charles Ponzi, and Elizabeth Holmes

We even launched an Instagram filter to see what scammer you are here. Share with friends and tag @bullishrippers so we can see who you got!

There were over 428 million Snapchat users globally in 2021. And just this past year, over 80% of the US Gen Z Population watched a Snap Original. Snapchat is creating a place for loyal communities like Serena’s to engage with topics and stories they care about. And it turns out, people aren’t just hooked on true crime stories. They’re crazy invested in the true stories of fraudsters and scammers.

As seen with shows like Inventing Anna, The Dropout, and The Tinder Swindler – scammers and their salacious stories are all over our news, streaming shows, and social media feeds. We’re craving juicy stories about greed, money, and the people who go to great lengths for it. Snapchat is the perfect spot for Serena to deliver. In Scamdalous’ premiere episode, Serena dives into the life (and scams) of infamous big pharma bro Martin Shkreli.

Bullish Studio is excited to join the likes of VICE, Cosmo, The Wall Street Journal, and BuzzFeed, publishing on a regular weekly cadence. Don’t miss the next episode of Scamdalous! Click here to subscribe to Scamdalous on Snapchat or scan the QR code below.
